Flower Ministry

Service through flowers!

 

Ann Lawrence organizes a Flower Ministry outreach each week to those who are unable to attend the service due to being shut in, in the nursing home, or in assisted living.

 

Each week for all 52 weeks of the year, a different member of the congregation pays for the flower arrangement made by The Secret Garden florist shop.  After the service, the arrangement is taken down from the altar and individual bud vases are transformed into twelve arrangements and delivered to those who are unable to be physically present in church.

 

Not only are they given a flower arrangement, but an opportunity for conversation and fellowship is created.
